Tucked between the estuary of Krka River and the Adriatic Sea, just a short drive from the historic town of Šibenik, Baraka Winery offers a wine tasting experience that blends great wines with beautiful scenery and warm hospitality.

This small, family-run estate sits on a gentle hillside with sweeping views of the surrounding vineyards, olive trees and a christian basilica from 6th century. It’s an ideal setting to slow down and enjoy the flavors of Dalmatia—whether you’re a curious traveler or a devoted wine lover.

Visitors are welcomed by friendly hosts who guide them through a relaxed tasting of Baraka’s wines. The lineup typically includes crisp whites like Debit, bold reds such as Babić wines from single vineyards, and the estate’s signature blend, Prisbus Riserva, voted best wine in Croatia Top100 for year 2025. Each wine reflects the character of the local soil and climate—sun-drenched days, salty sea breezes, and rocky terrain.

Tastings are thoughtfully paired with local specialties: estate-grown extra virgin olive oil, homemade bread, and a selection of charcuterie, seafood and cheeses from small local producers. The experience is relaxed yet informative, offering insight into how the wines are made and why this corner of Croatia is earning recognition among wine enthusiasts.

A guided walk through the cellar offers a closer look at the winery’s approach to farming and winemaking philosophy, and a strong connection to place. You’ll see where the wines are aged and hear about the work that goes into each vintage.

Baraka Winery is a peaceful, welcoming spot that invites you to enjoy good wine in a beautiful setting. It’s a highlight for anyone exploring the Dalmatian coast and a reminder of how special a glass of wine can be when shared at the source.

Knowledgeable and very friendly staff. Excellent food platters, the octopus particularly good. Relaxed atmosphere, seating inside and out. Plenty of tasting options. We shared two platters of food between 4, which was enough with bread. A 2 hour stay was long enough to try the wines and eat, but could have happily stayed longer!

A great experience! The manager welcomed us with pleasure in the tasting room even though we were with our dog. Excellent wine, especially the reds. The rosé was also not bad. With the tasting we were also treated to some bread, local olive oil, cheeses and flavoured olives. All very good and excellent explanations. We were very satisfied. Too bad we were not able to take a tour of the cellar. Imagine it was worth it.

Very tasty but short visit

We were served 6 different wines, 3 whites and 3 reds with a beautiful progression between the wines. We got to taste some high quality croatian wines. They were served with plateau of local cheese, charcuterie and more. The tasting was a beautiful experience. The visit was a bit too short and lackluster. The visit of the cellar was interesting but it’s a shame there was no visit of the exterior of the winery. I would have liked to hear more about their methods of caring for the vines, how they choose their grape varieties and other things like that. Overall still a very good experience and worth the detour.

I went to a wine tasting and the visit to the vineyard was very, very nice. Very good wines, beautiful location, very good also the appetizers that offered many local cheeses and sausages, definitely an experience that I recommend and that I would also like to do again, the owner was very kind and gave us a wonderful guided tour.
