A winery that reflects the philosophy of women owners of the estate.

Our small wine farm and boutique winery has been nestled in the heart of the Chianti Classico region in Greve in Chianti since 1780. With 5 hectares of land and an annual production of around 20,000 bottles, Savignola's wines have long been renowned for their quality and elegance.
The story of Savignola is uniquely feminine. Savignola is considered an historical company of the territory thanks to the efforts of Paolina, the first woman to bottle her Riserva in modern and elegantly shaped bordolese bottles as opposed to the
traditional fiasco. A woman of strong character, Paolina was instrumental in bringing innovation into the long standing traditions of Chianti Classico.
Today Manuela and her husband Luzius continue this wonderful and ambitious project with passion and commitment.

What sets Savignola apart is careful attention to detail; always pursuing quality and a balance between tradition and innovation in every process, service, and attitude.
The deep clay and limestone soil that characterizes our hill requires rigorous and careful work every year to create the perfect conditions for producing rich, intense, and long-lasting wines. By following an integrated production philosophy and implementing sustainable farming practices in the vineyards we respect, protect,
and enhance our terroir and its unique features so that our wines and olive oil reach their fullest potential and reflect their authenticity.
