Terre di Noto was founded in 1989 from an idea by Antonino Di Marco. The winemaker was in the area for some consultancy work. At this time, a crisis was unfolding for local wine businesses. Many parts of the vineyards in the region of Pachino and Noto were eradicated. Antonino saw a lot of potential in the territory and set up his own winery. Now the company is a well-known name, and the vineyard covers about 35 hectares. He has since run the winery with the help of his family members and other associates.

The winery is located at the southernmost part of Noto, and the soils, temperature, and climate are ideal in the region for vine cultivation.
