Villa Spinosa: A Scenic Gem in Valpolicella

Villa Spinosa offers stunning views of the Negrar di Valpolicella valley, nestled in the heart of Valpolicella Classica. Surrounded by lush vineyards, ancient olive groves, and cherry trees, this winery showcases the beauty of nature. Using traditional winemaking techniques, Villa Spinosa produces award-winning wines under the Valpolicella Classico DOC/DOCG designation.

Engaging Activities at the Winery

The winery's cellar serves as a welcoming space for tours and tastings, as well as various activities like cooking classes and photography sessions. Located in 19th-century subterranean areas, the cellar is ideal for wine production, featuring barriques, tonneaux, and Slavonian oak barrels for aging. The newly established PalaJago cellar is dedicated to drying grapes for the unique Amarone Della Valpolicella Classico DOCG. Large windows in the cellar offer panoramic views of the picturesque vineyards, where high-quality grape varieties such as Corvina Veronese, Corvinone, and Rondinella thrive.

Charming Experiences for Every Guest

Corte Spinosa, the winery's agriturismo farmhouse, provides a lovely retreat for romantic getaways or gatherings with friends and family. The farmhouse features refurbished apartments with kitchens and single or double rooms. Couples can enjoy unforgettable moments in the romantic Italian garden, which overlooks the vineyards, making it a perfect spot for relaxation and connection.

Many thanks to Piergiovani for the hospitality, the recommendations for staying in the region and for introducing us to delicious local wines!! Apartment 13 is beautiful, spacious, very clean, well equipped and bright. Private parking and rather quiet location. Our dog also enjoyed the stay!

We did an Amarone wine tasting. It was one of the most beautiful tastings we've ever had, both for the quality of the wines and for the professionalism and kindness of the guide. Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back!

Beautiful property and very good wines. We took a tour of the vineyards and the cellar followed by a wine tasting. A lot of time was taken during the tour and the wine tasting and everything was explained in great detail and clearly. The tasting took place in the very cozy tasting room, accompanied by Piergiovanni. The tasting also included a platter of various Italian sausages and cheeses that went excellently with the wines tasted. The communication beforehand was also impeccable. A clear recommendation for anyone vacationing near Valpolicella.

I found out about Villa Spinosa through the advice of an insider and I must say it was a remarkable discovery. I tried some of their Amarones (Guglielmi di Jago 10 vintage 2007 and Albasini vintage 2017) and to say they are excellent is an understatement, definitely better than the classic Amarones. In addition, the customer management and courtesy of this winery are excellent. Wines purchased online via email communication, better service than Amazon HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRODUCTS.
