F-J Regnery – a Family-Owned Mosel Winery Since the 1800s

Beautified by steep slopes of Klüsserather Bruderschaft, F-J Regnery Winery is located in the south-facing rolling hills of the Mosel Valley. Along with the production of wines, the estate produces the highest quality Brandy, Riesling Grappa, and Verjus.

Established in the 1800s by the Regnery Family, the winery has been producing high quality wines for several generations.

Member of the Bernkasteler Ring

In 1970, Senior Franz-Josef Regnery sold old cultivation land and purchased more vineyards in the winegrowing region of Klüsserather. He still works in the winery at the age of 80. In 2000, his son Peter acquired the winery and continued the family winemaking traditions with full dedication and passion. Later, the company became part of the well respected winegrower’s association, Bernkasteler Ring, consisting of 34 of the top quality Mosel winemakers.

The main cultivated grape varieties

Peter cultivates a broad array of grapes on eight hectares of land in the steep slopes of Schiefer-Steillage Klüsserather Bruderschaft. The vines grown at F-J Regnery are located in Devonian slate soil producing top-class Riesling, Spätburgunder, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah. These grapes are used to produce rich-quality red, white, and sparkling wines, together with rosé and dessert wines.

F-J Regnery Winery has a wine shop which was voted amongst the top 50 wine shops in Germany. Equipped with wooden benches and acrylic prints on glass, the wine shop boasts exceptional architecture and a charming ambiance. It also consists of a salesroom where guests can taste and buy several vintages of wine. An elegant staircase, made from wood, leads to another cozy room with windows overlooking the magnificent vineyards.
