Weingut Loeffler is present directly on the Baden Wine route, at the center of Markgraferland. It is right between the meditative Winzerort Ballrechten-Dottingen and the frosty town of Staufen. The same family is running the winery for three generations, and they have a lot of passion for winemaking. The family makes constant upgrades to the winery to ensure the quality of their products. Their wines have won multiple awards, including the Mondial du Chasselas and the Gault Millau.

The natural surroundings include steep slopes and stunning hills. There is a drystone wall with stone steps reaching beyond the borders of the country and is a cultural and natural heritage of the region. They have almost 14 hectares of vineyards at the hills of Fohrenberg and Castellberg. The mild Mediterranean climate, sunny days, and the loamy fertile soils are perfect for the cultivation of vines.

The main varieties of grapes in their vineyards are the Gutedel, Pinot blanc, Pinot Gris, Pinot noir, Sauvignon Blanc, Muscatel, and Chardonnay. The grapes help in the production of their famous red, white, rose, and sparkling wines. All the work in the vineyards is done under environmentally-controlled ecological guidelines. There is a low production of grapes but extremely high-quality. Moreover, they also produce fine liqueurs and spirits in their home distillery. The winery owns a seasonal restaurant that gives visitors the chance to enjoy their wines with handmade Baden cuisine and their farmhouse bread in the presence of stunning hills and natural beauty.
