A Winery with a Rich History

Founded in 1982 by Stephen George, who held a very critical role in the development of Adelaide Hills as a wine region, Ashton Hills Vineyards has a strong history with the journey of the recognition of the wine region.

The vineyards of Ashton Hills are spread across three hectares. Nestled in the Piccadilly Valley sub region of the Adelaide HIlls on a ridge just below the summit of Mount Lofty, the vineyards have three key climate variables : humidity, cool temperature and rainfall; all of which are significant for a good bottle of wine. And hence is the reason, Ashton Hills Vineyards is recognized as producing some of the finest wines from the Adelaide Hills. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Riesling and Shiraz grow here in these beautiful regions to give you exquisite wines.
