The History of Château Lafon-Rochet The Tesseron family owns and runs the prestigious Château Lafon-Rochet winery, built in the mid-17th century and located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux region. It is currently Basile Tesseron, the son of Michel Tesseron, who manages the estate. They grow 41 hectares of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The vine density in the vineyards of the Château Lafon-Rochet winery ranges from 8,500 to 10,000 vines per hectare.
