Relish the beauty of hundred years old vineyards located in the Bordeaux wine region of France. The vineyards belong to the Chateau Picque Caillou Winery, where visitors can learn the art of vine cultivation and winemaking. The tasting activities will take place in the cellar tasting room. Here, guests will be greeted with the estate’s two finest wines, red and white, paired with local products.
The winery guide will also explain how wine aging and wine bottling are carried out under controlled temperature conditions. Paulin Calvet, the owner, will also offer a broad historical background of the vineyard site, where grapes are grown for over 500 years.
