Fifth Generation of the Family Continuing Legacy Travaglini Giancarlo was set up by Clemente Travaglini in the 1920s in the Gattinara. Arturo Travaglini, his son, took over the business in 1958, and to this day, the family’s love and passion for winemaking are exactly the same. The fifth generation of the family, Clemente’s great-granddaughter, Cinzia Travaglini, runs the winery along with his husband, chief winemaker Massimo Collauto. They have made Gattinara the most renowned producer of traditional Nebbiolo wines. The Gattinara DOCG has a great structure, and Nebbiolo DOC delle Sesia is young and fruity.
