A trip to the Chelti winery is worthy of your time. Chelti is a place to enjoy the finest vintages of world’s oldest wine-making country and dine in a restaurant that combines traditional Kakhetian style cuisine combined with European dishes to offer a unique gastronomic experience of Georgia.
On the wine tour, guests can taste 6-10 red and white wines, produced with traditional and classical methods which they can choose for themselves. The guests can also participate in baking bread, pitcher opening, grapes pressing process and churchkhela making process. They also will be able to pick fruit, grown up in Chelti gardens, seasonally. The tour is generally conducted on 2nd January and the guests can visit the voneyards, winery, cellar and the tasting room.
