Wine Tasting We enjoyed our time here. The tour was relatively short but that allowed for plenty of time for a wine tasting. We do wish that they would’ve given more knowledge about each of the wines, but it was nice being able to pick and choose the wines that you wanted to taste.

Fresh wines We had a personal tasting during harvest season. Beautiful farm setting. Excellent fresh wines. Knowledgeable wine family, and great service from the 2014 Slovenia Wine Queen. And did I mention the snack plate included the best prosciutto I’ve ever eaten?!

History, Geography, Education and Wine! Our “guide” , Miha, (who spoke very good English) was most engaging and informative about the Albiana Winery project in the context of the Region. His introduction of the wines was appropriately technical when it needed to be, but his clear passion and love for his job added that final enjoyment to our tour. The charcuterie platter was delicious !
