How to Reach Wineries in Andalusia

Wineries in Andalusia are easily accessible by different means of transportation.

By Air

There are many airports in Andalusia. Málaga Airport (AGP), Sevilla Airport (SVQ) and Granada Airport (GRX) all offer both domestic and international flights from where you can rent a car and reach many wineries in Andalusia.

If you are flying from a domestic destination, you can also land in Almeria Airport (LEI) or in Jerez de la Frontera (XRY).

By Car

You can fully enjoy the road trip through the Andalusian landscape and visit many wineries in Andalusia. There are many motorways, known in Spanish as autovías, through which you can reach many wineries in Andalusia. 
Here's how to reach Andalusia via car: 

  • From the Algarve (Portugal) to Seville through E-1/A-49 route.

  • The E-803/A-66 connects Portugal to western Spain and Sevilla.

  • You can travel from Madrid on the E-5/A-4 route.

  • If you are travelling from Valencia or Murcia, take the E-15/A-7 motorway to reach Almeria.

By Train

Spain's high-speed trains AVE, connect Malaga, Cordoba and Sevilla to other big cities like Madrid or Barcelona. From the main train stations, you can get regional train services and get to smaller towns closer to different wineries in Andalusia.

The experience was fantastic I would rate it 9 out of 10. The experience was fantastic. Whilst you don't get to view the actual vineyards and the cellars are small (in comparision to other vineyard tours), it is incredible the volumes they produce from such a compact winery. The fact that their business has grown so quickly can be attributed to the passion and knowledge held within the family business.
