By Air

Fly into Madrid-Barajas (MAD) if you are coming to Castile and Leon from anywhere else than Spain. The Madrid Barajas Airport is not in Castile-León but in the neighboring region of Madrid. From there, you can travel to Segovia and Valladolid by metro and train, or by bus to Salamanca and Burgos.
There are some smaller regional airport in Castile and León in Valladolid (VLL), León (LEN), Salamanca (SLM) and Burgos-Villafria Airport (RGS).

From Barcelona, there are only a handful of trains which are also quite slow. Instead, take a connection via Madrid which is the faster option.
From France, the shortest route is via Hendaye and Irun. From there, take train to Burgos, Palencia, Valladolid or León.
