How to Reach Wineries in Catalonia

Wineries in Catalonia are easily accessible by different means of transportation.

By Air

Located in Barcelona, El Prat Airport (BCN) is the main airport in Catalonia, from where you can easily start your exploration of wineries in Catalonia. With its two terminals, it serves national, European and intercontinental flights to an infinite number of destinations. 
Another useful hub to fly to, especially if you fly low coast, is the Girona Airport (GRO) is the second major airport in Catalonia. Although smaller in size, it is very useful to reach the beautiful Costa Brava and northern wineries in Catalonia.

By Car

You can visit wineries in Catalonia via bus or car. Busses and coaches connect the main cities in Catalonia with many national and international destinations. Bus stations in Barcelona are: Estació de Sants and The Estació del Nord. 
In every bus station, train station or airport, you can rent a car to better get to wineries in Catalonia. Normally, it takes 1.5h or 2h to reach the majority of wineries in Catalonia from Barcelona, as most of them are in the countryside. Don't forget to visit wineries in Priorat, where some of the most classic Cava in all of Spain is produced.
If you travel to wineries in Catalonia by car, just follow indications to Barcelona, the absolute heart of Catalonia.

By Train

The main train station in Barcelona is called Estació de Sants, but the most central one is Plaça de Catalunya (very well connected to local and regional destinations). Barcelona is very well connected by train with Spanish cities, such as Madrid, Valencia, Zaragoza. Inside Catalonia, there are frequent trains from the other three main cities, Lleida, Tarragona and Girona.

Truly a blast! We did a tour and tasting. The grounds are stunning, the tour was incredibly insightful and exciting for wine-o's like us. Our guide was so kind and funny, it was truly a blast. Cannot recommend enough. And I haven't even mentioned the wines. The Cava was exceptional. Totally blew us away and had to bring a bottle home!

Your custumer service is perfect We were totally comfortable with Criville i Walls winery. They told us about the manufactures of his wine. From the vinyards to the commercial distribution. We showed all process of elaboration wines. The visit were totally amazing because we wanted in Priorat or the other famous áreas in Spain, ouwners that manufactured wines with love and carrefully.
