Small Rustic Chic Winery Operated by Lively Couple
Nestled in the heart of the beautiful Dry Creek Valley of Sonoma County, the Capo Creek is a rustic-chic small winery with hand harvesting, hand sorting, small-batch wines. The story of Capo Creek Winery began when a physician couple from Naperville, Mary Roy and Bob Covert, bought the historic Dry Creek Valley Vineyard in the year 2013. The winery produces less than 3,000 cases per year.
The Winery’s Unique Logo
The winery is blessed with abundant sunshine, rich soils, and a stellar team. Hence, it is no surprise that their wines taste so good! Rhone varietals, Old Vine Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc are grown in the vineyards of the winery. The owners chose the musical “capo” logo to reflect their return to a life that focuses on life’s simplest pleasures, from the clear melodic sounds of songbirds and acoustic guitar strings to the rejuvenating effects of abundant sunshine and fresh air.
For them the cāpo is a symbol that joins love, laughter, music, and of course, great wine.
