The location of the estate is unique in that it is situated on a natural limestone fault. This land gives the wines a natural freshness and elegance, making them an absolute pleasure to drink. Passy-Grigny is well known for its diversity of terroirs and exceptional levels of sun exposure.

The Champagne Laurent Lequart Philisophy

Since 1988 the team at Champagne Laurent Lequart has worked on the concept of sustainable vine growing. Through this, the estate has been awarded the High Environmental Value (HVE) and Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne (VDC) certifications. At Champagne Laurent Lequart the belief is that by taking care of people, nature and the land, a sustainable and natural green environment can be created.

The grapes and wines of Champagne Laurent Lequart

The 11, 40 hectares of vines at Champagne Laurent Lequart are planted mainly with the Meunier grape varietal – the emblemativ grape of the Marne Valley region. Meunier is an elegant and fruity grape that produces wines with a wonderful bouquet and delicious flavors. The ensitre range of Champagne Laurent Lequart wines are vinified by the Passy-Grigny cooperative. It is here that over the years many improvements have been implemented to ensure the development and highest quality of the wines produced. The cooperative has a modern pressing center where the vats are temperature-controlled and vinification is carefully monitored throughout the entire process. The wines at Champagne Laurent Lequart have been acknowledged at various local and international prestigious wine awards for their excellent flavors and quality.
