Château Maresque, the Oldest and Most Beautiful Vineyard in France

Discover the Winery of Château Maresque

Château Maresque is located in Gaillac, within the oldest vineyards in France. The grapes in that beautiful landscape benefit from the oceanic climate and the Mediterranean heat that help in good maturity of grapes for the production of high-quality wines. On a total of 13 hectares the estate grows only the best grapes for their harmonious wines that reflect the terroir of this region.

The Unique Wines of Château Maresque

Château Maresque uses Mauzac and Sauvignon Blanc to produce dry white wines and for their red wines, they have planted Duras, Braucol, Syrah, Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. The L’en de l’El is a very old grape variety, which is unique in the world and is preferably grown in the southwest of France, more specifically in the Gaillac area. The wine of this grape variety offers rich and concentrated aromas, creating rather low-acid wines. These grapes also bring freshness as well as finesse to their wines. The winemakers produce at Château Maresque amazing wines with grape varieties that are ideal for their soils and terroir.
