DolceVera, Ripasso and Amarone Wines Galore
The DolceVera Winery is located in Valpolicella, in a charming town Negrar, in the Verona province. The vineyards of the winery are expanded over a land of 4.8 hectares. At DolceVera, with great passion and dedication, the owner produces four wines, such as Valpolicella Classico, Ripasso, Amarone, and Recioto, that profoundly expresses the terroirs of the Veneto region.
A Nun Inspired the Owner of the Winery
The story of the DolceVera Winery begins in 2011 when Marco Benedetti, the owner of the estate, completed accounting school. After graduation, he went to a winery near his house and harvested grapes. Marco spent approximately two years understanding that he belongs to the world of wine so he decided to establish DolceVera. The estate overlooks the gorgeous valley and a picturesque view of the appealing countryside. The word ‘Dolce’ is indirectly dedicated to father, and ‘Vera’ is a nun whom Marco’s father met in a casual meeting. The nun became the source of inspiration for both Marco and his father which resulted in the establishment of the DolceVera Winery.
Best Conditions for Grape Maturation
The vineyards are stretched on the rolling hills of Valpolicella in the northeast of Negrar – the area bets suitable for the production of red wines. Marco grows a wide range of vines, which include fruity Corvina and Corvinone, along with high-quality Rondinella and Molinara. The grapes enjoy their unique microclimate throughout the year with an appropriate amount of sunshine that ensures the best quality vines. DolceVera consists of a modernized cellar, equipped with wooden barrels, where the owner stores his wines for essential aging and refinement.
