Domaine de Perreau, a Family-Run Winery for Five Generations
The Domaine de Perreau is a family owned and operated winery which is spread over an area of 21.4 hectares. They are based in the Bergerac and Montravel appellations of France. The owner, Gaëlle Reynou-Gravier, belongs to the fifth generation of vintners at Domaine de Perreau, taking over the property in 2013. The winery’s vineyards are spread throughout the following villages, Saint Michel de Montaigne, Lamothe-Montravel and Montcaret. These villages are located at the western end of the Bergerac appellation. In this area, Domaine de Perreau produces wine in Montravel Rouge, Montravel Blanc, Côtes de Montravel and Haut Montravel appellations. Red grapes are grown on 18 hectares and white wine grapes on four hectares. At Domaine de Perreau the process of de-budding enables the selection of bunch quantity for producing high-quality wines in the Bergerac region.
