Domaine Duseigneur, Where Natural Wines are Created in Beautiful Surroundings
Domaine Duseigneur is a biodynamic winery that is located on the other side of the Rhône at Saint Laurent des Arbres. The sun, the wind, and the unique orange pebbles generate the divine trilogy that gives this place its timeless magic.
In the Middle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape
Domaine Duseigneur is located in the middle of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and provides a wide variety of soils. It includes red clays, limestone pebbles, and sandstone sands of the marine origin or deeper loams from the banks of the Rhône. The winery founded its origins in the pioneering work of the father of Bernard Duseigneur. In the late 70s, Bernard’s father found the winery in the town of Saint Laurent des Arbres (Gard). Presently, Bernard, along with the best 1992 sommelier Philippe Faure Brac, is offering elegant organic wines.
Domaine Duseigneur Winery Creates Wine Labels with Unique Astrolabe
The logo of the wine bottles, Astrolabe, is an ancient navigation instrument that allows visitors to find their way by following the stars. This label is a symbol that reveals biodynamic actions of the cultural practices of Domaine Duseigneur. The winery cultivates various types of vines, such as rare Grenache, Syrah, and Bourboulenc. They collect their grapes manually, followed by stemming and devatting. They keep their prestigious wines for aging in a demi-muids of 500 litres in Vosges oak. At Domaine Duseigneur you will feel the closeness to nature in every corner, especially in the beautiful wines. Along with vine cultivation, they also grow a vast range of medicinal flora species, such as Achille Millefeuille, Nettle, Valerian officinale, etc. If you are a dedicated wine-lover and want to add wonderful wine experiences in your life, then you may plan a short trip to Domaine Duseigneur.
