The History of Domaine Huber et Bléger
Domaine Huber et Bléger is a family winery surrounded by 30 ha of vineyards and located in Saint-Hippolyte in Alsace. They represent the second and third generation of the family that founded the Domaine Huber et Bléger in 1967.
Sustainable Winemaking at Domaine Huber et Bléger
The vineyards of Domaine Huber et Bléger are almost exclusively established on parcels made of granite soils located in Saint-Hippolyte and Kaysersberg. This great terroir favors the minerality and elegance of the wines. The grapes are entirely harvested by hands, followed by a gentle pressing, a slow and controlled fermentation. The vines have been completely grown in sustainable agriculture for 20 years and have been certified by the labels Terra Vitis and Haute Valeur Environnementale since 2017. The main focus of the winemakers at Domaine Huber et Bléger is to preserve the finesse, freshness, and minerality of the Alsatian grape varieties.
