The King’s Court Estate- Winery with Award-Winning Red Wines
The King’s Court Estate Winery is located along the magnificent Niagara Peninsula in the Niagara Region of Canada. The winery us a family run estate that is currently in its seventh generation. The King’s Court Estate award winning red wines have a range of characteristics and flavour profiles because of the unique climate of the Niagara region.
Different types of Wines
The vineyard produces red wines including Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Baco Noir and the Vintner’s Choice Red. The flavours of these red wines can be described as spicy, earthy, aromatic and full bodied. These flavours are thanks to the area that the grapes are grown in as well as the processes used in the production of the wines. The King’s Court Estate red wines are best paired with seafood, poultry or beef. The white wines produced by the state include Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and the Vintner’s Choice White. Along with these red and white wines, the King’s Court Estate Winery also produces fruit wines which are made by fermenting the juice of the pulp of fruits.
Delicious Dessert Wines
While most wines are made using only grapes, the use of different fruits can also create exciting wine flavours. Some fruit wines are made with single fruits such as apples while others are made using a blend of different fruits. This wine can be enjoyed as a dessert and can also be used in cooking.
The King’s Court Estate fruit wines have won several awards and the most popular is the Iced Apple Wine which won high praise at the 2014 All Canadian Wine Championships.
