Among the hills of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, the Stramaret winery is located in the beautiful village of Funer, in the Treviso province. It is a small family-run winemaking business that has dedicated itself in the production of fine organic wines.
In 1888, the history of the Stramaret winery started when Giovanni Stramaret founded the farm in Funer di Valdobbiadene. Over the years, many generations of the Stramaret family worked with great dedication and passion and handled the management of the estate. The winery got its name later in 2005 to represent a point of reference among the Cantine di Valdobbiadene. In 2016, Carlo, the present owner incorporate non-intensive biological agriculture methods to produce top-quality organic wines.
The vineyards of the Stramaret winery are stretched over an area of 10 hectares, and their main grape is Glera., using which they produce four different products. At the Stramaret estate, the staff produces Valdobbiadene DOCG, together with a couple of local wines, such as Vin De Me Jeia. All these wines express the essence of tradition, territory, and innovation. The owner also cultivates top-class Manzoni Bianco 6.0.13, along with rich-quality Riesling Rhine and Pinot Blanc within the Conegliano Valdobbiadene prosecco superiore DOCG region. With organic certification, the winery produces high-quality white and sparkling wines.
