Weingut Heninger – a Family-Owned Winery Located in the Krems Valley
The Weingut Heninger winery is located in the southernmost part of the Krems Valley at the center of the village of Krustetten. Their vineyards expand throughout the Wachau wine region across the Krems and the Traisen Valleys. The winery has a lot of passion for their vineyards as they work in harmony with nature and their surrounding environment. The fourth generation currently operates the winery, and Markus Heninger leads the business along with his girlfriend, Lisa, and his family. Markus completed his graduation from the College for Business and Viticulture in 2011 and worked in Germany and Austria to add practical application to his knowledge of winemaking. His ambition was to make the best wines by examining the soils of their vineyards, judging the weather in the area, and harvesting the grapes at their peak of maturation. The wines at Weingut Heninger reflect true features of the region and the hard work and commitment of the team.
The owners of Weingut Heninger have passion for the vineyards and work in harmony with nature and the surrounding environment to create exceptional wines.
