Winery with old history and classic steep slopes
Mosel lies in south western Germany which is home to medieval castles, fairytale castles, beautiful vineyards etc. One such vineyard and winery with classic steep slopes is Weingut Vinothek Schlöder-Thielen. This winery has a very old history. The wine has been produced for more than 670 years. Believe it or not, the Riesling wines are made in an old castle built in 1360.
The Schlöder’s believe that in their vineyards, conventional and traditional methods go hand in hand, complementing one other at its best. The first-class experience that they offer is only possible due to the blend of the two practices.
Purely Riesling Winery
Another thing that makes this winery stand out is that it is purely Riesling winery that is the winery uses only one primary varietal of grapes for the winemaking. This variety is then handpicked to produce flavorful, rich white and sparkling wines. The wines made in this winery are natural and bear the individual, authentic taste. The traditional oak barrels are used to produce the wines in Weingut Vinothek Schlöder-Thielen. Additionally, the vineyards are managed using natural management principles.
Winery with special service
One should know what goes into the body, be it food or drinks. Based on this construct is their operating philosophy. That is the reason why they are not reluctant to show where and how each of their grapes is grown. Since quality is their top priority, there are no compromises made either with the quality of the wines or with the special service provided.
