The distinct Winzervereinigung estate
Winzervereinigung is in the Saale and Unstrut wine region, a home and stand in a millennia-old tradition of viticulture. As the largest wine producer in Central Germany, they focus on uniqueness and quality. This is ensured today by around 400 members who cultivate an area of around 400 hectares. The historic wooden barrel cellar is one of the largest and most beautiful of its kind in Germany that you will not find anywhere in the country.
Age-old tradition at the winery
The culture and aura of the European landscape combine with handcraft winemaking at the place where Unstrut and Saale meet. Both rivers flow past gentle slopes and hills before merging into each other effortlessly. Freyburg is the place where the wine estate stands, and it has distinct climatic and geographic features. Many grape varieties grow here like Silvaner, Muller-Thurgau, Traminer, Dornfelder, Portugeiser, Spatburgunder, etc.
