Albana has always been the flagship white grape of Tre Monti, a historic native variety to which our family and winery feel deeply connected. The experience begins with a walk through our vineyards in the hills of Romagna, where guests will discover Albana’s agronomic needs, its natural structure and vibrant acidity, and the close relationship between the grape, the soils and the climate of the Romagna terroir. The visit then continues through the winery, the winemaking areas, the ageing cellar and our Georgian amphorae, offering an insight into the different techniques we use to express Albana’s distinctive character.
The tour concludes with a guided tasting of six Albana wines, each presenting a different interpretation of the same remarkable grape. Depending on the selection, guests may taste fresh and elegant dry wines, skin-contact and orange wines, sparkling versions, amphora-aged wines and sweet passito wines. The tasting is accompanied by traditional local breads, such as piadina and filled focaccia.
What makes this experience special is the opportunity to explore the extraordinary versatility of Albana through a complete journey from vineyard to glass. Surrounded by the landscape of Romagna and guided by the people who grow and vinify this grape every year, guests will discover how a single native variety can produce wines with profoundly different styles, personalities and expressions.
