Fabulous few hours on Sunday, with Tash and Eliza who generously showed us around the biodynamic and organic elements of the wine production, then hosted us to a lovely platter that had fruit and berries picked from the farm and cheeses and others from the region. We booked this through RedBalloon as one of their experiences, and happily went home with some lovely wine.

We had a voucher for wine tasting for 2, and his was our first ever wine tasting experience. Visited on a Thursday about 3.30 and was very quiet. Nice balcony area overlooking the fields/vineyard with Alpacas. Ladies who worked their were friendly, especially our wine expert who was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the place/wines. Would definitely recommend a visit.

I recently visited Gemtree for a wine tasting experience, and it was delightful. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a day of exploring wines. Bianca, the staff member who guided us, was exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable. She patiently answered our questions and shared interesting insights about the wines and the winery’s sustainable practices, which added depth to the experience. Her passion for the wines was evident, making the tasting more enjoyable and informative. The variety of wines offered was impressive, and each was presented with detailed explanations about the flavors and the winemaking process. It was a great opportunity to learn and appreciate the nuances of their selection. The setting was equally remarkable, with stunning views that made the visit even more memorable. The picturesque scenery provided a perfect backdrop for a relaxed tasting experience. Overall, the experience was lovely, and I would highly recommend Gemtree to anyone looking for a relaxed yet informative wine-tasting session amidst beautiful surroundings.

Excellent wines and cellar door! It was incredible sitting sheltered from gusts on not the nicest day, but still have the outside filtering in as we tasted some wines. They also are experts in biodynamic wines, and there’s a lot to learn and appreciate about their sustainable practices. Pro tip: they also host two tiny homes nearby, and it’s a lovely stay and wander around.

Went here for a private tasting and tour on Monday 1/7, and it was a great experience and our host Tania, was friendly and very informative. The wines were lovely and we all enjoyed looking at the bush Tucker and biodynamic methods used. We had some lovely wines and the nibbles platter was a perfect complement to the wines. We all ended up buying wines and sending them back home.
