Write a reviewWe had a wonderful time at the Steras winery. Tilen was very generous with his information concerning winemaking, their wines, and the history behind them. We hardly saw the time pass. The hardest part was deciding which wine to bring back home.
We have been received on the place with excellent company, some wines to taste from their own productions of white and red wines. We talked about their production, what kinds of vines they use, and why their wines are so unique. I recommend taking your time to discover it, we loved it very much and had an excellent time.
Our guide was very welcoming and knowledgeable and generously let us taste so many different wines! (And meet the adorable dog.) Would definitely recommend this place for a tasting - and the wines were amazing!
We had a great time trying various different types of wines from white & orange to red. They were in the middle of harvest and you can tell the passion for wine making in a family run vineyard. My wife and I enjoyed it very much and would recommend to anyone interesting in tasting and learning about Slovenian wine & grapes.
