Guests are welcomed at our family winery in Mombisaggio in the Tortona Hills, where the experience begins with an introduction to our vineyards, our philosophy of natural wine production, and the unique characteristics of the Tortona Hills terroir.
During the cellar visit, visitors will learn about our artisanal approach: spontaneous fermentations, no filtration or fining, and no added sulfites, as well as the different vinification methods we use for red and white wines, allowing each wine to fully express the spirit of its origin.
The tasting takes place in our dedicated tasting room or outdoors if the weather permits, offering a relaxed and scenic setting. Guests will enjoy four of our wines, carefully selected to showcase the diversity of the region. This includes two Timorasso wines—one fermented and aged in stainless steel for a crisp, mineral expression, and one fermented and aged in wood for a richer, more complex profile and two Barbera wines, one in stainless steel, highlighting fresh fruit and vibrant acidity, and one aged in wood, offering depth and elegance. Light accompaniments of local products, such as artisanal bread and cheeses, enhance the tasting and complement the wines (Vegan and vegetarian options can be requested when booking).
Visitors can also learn about Mombisaggio, a small historic village with medieval towers, ancient churches, and buildings made from white tuff stone quarried locally. Our cellar blends history and modernity, being created in the old winery of our family house using these same tuff blocks. This combination of authentic natural wines, family heritage, and the history and landscapes of the Tortona Hills makes the experience a fully immersive journey into the region’s flavors, stories, and culture.
