This wonderful experience at La Veneranda will let you discover the beauty and traditions of Montefalco: during the tasting, the winery team will make you feel like part of the family.
Upon your arrival at La Veneranda, you will be told the history of the estate.
Afterwards, it's time to take a seat in the La Veneranda tasting room. The tasting will consist of three of their wines: a glass of IGT wine, a glass of DOC wine, and a glass of DOCG wine.
The wines you can choose from are: Annae Vino Spumante Brut, Aureo Umbria Bianco IGT, Montefalco DOC Grechetto, Elli Umbria Bianco IGT, Federico II Umbria Rosato IGT, Riccardo I Umbria Rosso IGT, Montefalco DOC Rosso, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG, Elli Umbria Rosso IGT, Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG Passito.
The tasting can be paired with a platter of cured meats and pecorino cheese, and bruschetta with extra virgin olive oil, all of which we produce ourselves.
Guided winery tours are available on weekends at 11:30 AM and 3:30 PM; weekday availability is not guaranteed

Write a reviewWe didn't tour the cellar because it was late and we ended up there by chance...anyway we tasted some wines that we then bought, they were truly fantastic, Sagrantino, Montefalco and more...if you're in the area stop by...upon reservation they also do tastings and guided tours.

To taste San Francesco, with 8 harmonious wheels. Mesmo com a barreira do idioma, Anna Rita foi extremamente atenciosa e receptiva. Riccardo was there for an exemplar, with a sense of humor, while enjoying a taste and attentiveness to the experience. Vinhos and accompaniments of saborosos and many harmonized elements. Super recommended!

We stumbled upon it by chance. And we did well. The place won't be the coolest in the area. But their passion for the work they do is at the forefront. Come visit because they made us feel at home. Riccardo says he talks too much but he was very good and explained so many things to us. Thank you
