An hour of pleasurable discovery

In England we have discovered the pleasures of great wines. The wines of Pouilly Fumee and Sancerre are justifiably amoungst the best in France. It is only when you discover the many challenges that face Vignerons that you really appreciate the risks and the passion of growers. My visit was an education . Before it, I thought I knew a bit. Now I know and appreciate a lot more how tough it can be. It's not just the soil and the climate. There are so many challenges to be overcome. It takes knowledge, hard work, good luck, and a sound business head to succeed. The result... Great wine. Thankyou my so much for a most informative tour, and most pleasurable tasting.

Visit to the estate Saturday morning. The welcome and the explanations were very interesting. We had a great time visiting the vineyards, the vats and the tasting. The wines are also very good. To do again!
