Wine tasting and tour at Poggio Nibbiale

The wines of Poggio Nibbiale are matured in an underground 13th century vaulted cellar under the church of San Giovanni Batista in Scansano. It is here in this beautiful and unique setting that the Poggio Nibbiale wine tasting experience takes place. The wine tasting consists of 6 to 10 wines of the visitor’s choice paired with typical small dishes from the local area such as affettati misti, prosciutto, salami, cheese, olives, bread and grissini. During the wine tasting the visitors can engage with the wine making team to learn more about organic wine making processes and hear the fascinating stories of the Poggio Nibbiale wines. Finally, visitors have the opportunity to stroll through the vineyards and enjoy the breath taking views and surrounding sceneries.
