Enchanting place with a view of the Tuscan countryside and with the sea in the background: a worthy setting for an excellent wine, obtained with passion and attention to detail!

A place with an exceptional wine. The winemaker invited me to his winery after a chance encounter. My favorite was the Chorus 2018. The Vermentino is not without it either. Unfortunately the trip is over and we are back in Munich

Addendum June 2024 - After the last time I stood in front of a closed door two years ago, I had plenty of Morellino and Tomaso (which I really appreciate) of various vintages delivered via a mail order company in Bologna. Unfortunately, I had no success on site this year either. I'll probably have to register in advance next year. The question is whether a tour is also for one person? After I was finally able to visit Simone Castelli this year... I unfortunately only became aware of this winery back in Germany. I would like to visit next year. The wines from this area are top class. And a German dentist can't do much wrong - I guess!?! Addendum from March 6th, 2020: I received a box of the 2017 Morellino vintage today. It's just great! Can more than keep up with Simone Castelli. I'll be back in Tuscany in June, then I'll stop here too.
