absolutely stunning grounds and the most fabulous tour with the owners at their open day. absolutely superb experience all round including a glass of their delicious english vintage sparkling wine, liqueur and gin.

Our host, Sibylla, met us, invited us into the tasting room, and promptly lit the fire being a cool spring morning. The warmth of the fire was matched by her reception and hospitality. Sibylla related an interesting history of the vineyard inclusive of her families involvement in the wine industry giving an insight of how High Clandon evolved. Her enthusiasm for her lifes calling in the creation of top class English Sparkling wine, is omnipresent and tangible . Before adventuring into the vineyards we enjoyed good coffee with Sibyllas freshly made cheese pastry puffs - delightful. The shower of international accolades bestowed on HC Sparkling wine were fully seconded by us . Sibylla was generous with her wine tasting . Sibylla regaled us with her entrance into truffle harvesting and the requisite training of her dogs .Fascinating. An unforgettable experience. Thank you Wine Tourism.com for facilitating this event . Interesting couple with plenty of knowledge about wine and wine making, good anectodes. When we went there was an art exihibition. Good views to London on a clear day with wild medow and pond.

Five Star Tour and Tasting Thank-you to Sibylla and Bruce Tindale for sharing your story in your wonderful grounds. The chalk hills have provided the perfect place for you to cultivate so carefully your vines. Your sparkling wine vintages live up to their name of Qunitessence ! Your Elizabethan Cuvee is delightful, with scents of roses and elderflower. On the palate it really is a pleasure creamy and full bodied. The home made cheese gougeres were melt in the mouth fabulous We look forward to returning in July for your Art and Sculpture in the vinyard event
