This summer, the magic of sunset meets the authentic flavors of the Castelli Romani.
Cantina Costantini and Il Borgo Ariccia invite you to experience a series of exclusive events immersed in nature, wine, and warm hospitality.

Imagine a summer afternoon among the vineyards, a picnic basket filled with local delicacies, and the golden light of the sunset over the vines… That’s exactly what awaits you at our Sunset Picnics in the Vineyard, set in the charming atmosphere of Il Borgo di Ariccia.

What the experience includes:

  • A picnic basket with a selection of artisanal cured meats and cheeses, all produced by Il Borgo’s own farm
  • A bottle of wine and extra virgin olive oil from Cantina Costantini
  • Picnic blanket, glasses, and utensils to fully enjoy a moment of freedom among the rows

Afterwards, we’ll gather in the charming little square of the Borgo for a seated dinner paired with a guided tasting of Cantina Costantini’s finest wines.

Menu:

  • Ravioli stuffed with “cacio e pepe”, tossed with Amatrician-style guanciale
    Wine pairing: Bellone 2024
  • Roasted suckling pig with cooked grape must and oven-baked potatoes
    Wine pairing: Gemmarossa 2021
  • Homemade desserts
    Wine pairing: Passiflò 2019 – Late harvest sweet Malvasia Puntinata

Thanks to Sara, a wonderful aperitif! Excellent products that clearly demonstrate the love they put into their work! We tasted many quality products paired with four wines selected from their production (Bellone, Duchessa Libia, Cesanese, and Gemmarossa). The choice is difficult, but as red wine lovers, our favorite is Gemmarossa!
