Intensive Provence fine wine experience

Provence is one of the oldest wine regions in France - in fact it was the Greeks in 600BC that first brought vines here, so it's only natural that we pride ourselves on the excellent selection of Rosé wine that Provence is famous for. On this tour you will visit three exceptional wine makers with a unique history and heritage in winemaking - Château de Beaupré, six generations of wine making heritage that began in 1855, Château Bonisson, a destination and source of inspiration & creativity and Château La Verrerie which sits between the lower Rhône valley and Provence. The estate covers 48 hectares and produces around 250,000 bottles each year. This is an experience of discovery. Provence is the world's largest producer of Rose wine, many of which are regarded as some of the best in the world. Nowadays they also produce some excellent reds and whites - this experience will take you on a journey of discovery against a backdrop of the beauty of the Provence countryside.

Tour itinerary

We will arrive to collect you from your hotel, chambre d'hôte, villa or apartment.

We leave by car first to Château La Verrerie to explore the vineyard and a visit the cave with wine tasting. Although renowned for their rosé wines, they also produce some very interesting red & white wines. Afterwards a lunch break in the nearby village of Lauris.

Early afternoon a short drive to Château de Beaupré, owned by a family with a history of six generations of winemaking in Provence. Finally  a visit to Château Bonisson famed for its excellent wines and collection of contemporary art. The wine making process here is state of the art. The morning is spent at one vineyard and in the afternoon we visit two. From here return to your hotel or villa.
