Taste local wines and learn about famous Amarone wines on this wine adventure in Valpolicella, Veneto

A perfect match if you want to experience Valpolicella wines and to see where the famous Amarone wine is being produced. Moreover, you will be able to broaden your horizons by visiting 2 wineries and tasting wines from different producers.

You will start with visiting a family-run winery in the very heart of Valpolicella to see the vineyards, historic and modern cellars and learn something new about the wine-making process. One hundred years of history, four generations, bearing witness to a solid wine making tradition. Classicism and an indissoluble bond with the land are the distinctive traits encapsulated in the winemakers’ personal interpretations of Recioto and Amarone, wines that symbolize the heritage and evolution of Valpolicella wine. At the end of the guided tour, you will enjoy a tasting of 6 representative wines of the area.

After, you will visit a historic winery in the Valpolicella Classica area, located in San Pietro in Cariano, based in a country house dating back to 1917 and surrounded by beautiful hills full of vineyards, cherry trees and olive trees. The Cantina has been renovated over the years to create an ideal space for processing grapes and producing the typical wines of the region. Here you will have a guided tasing of the 2 most representative local wines, Valpolicella DOC and Ripasso. Book your visit today through WineTourism.com.

Please note, that private transfer is not included in the tour.
