A Winery that Resembles the Artwork of the Famous Serbian Painter, Milenko Šerban
Belo Brdo Winery was founded in 2007 when Aleksander bought 10 hectares of vineyards encircling the winery building. The small hamlet of Srem embracing Novi Sad had helped him achieve his dream. In 2008, he replanted his first vineyards. Today, he aims to produce excellent, full-bodied wines, reflecting the essence of the terroirs. He has renovated the cellar with modern and state-of-the-art tools and technologies. New barriques are purchased to refine wines, giving them a subtle wooden expression.
Vineyards are Planted with International Grape Varieties
Belo Brdo focuses on the production of nine international grape varieties – three white and six red. On the estate-owned 20 hectares, Aleksander grows high-class Chardonnay, Sauvignon blanc, Riesling, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Pinot Noir, Marseille, and Petit Verdot. These vines enjoy excellent exposure, sunshine hours, and constant airflow throughout the year, offering ideal conditions for grape maturation. He has also applied unique agro-technical measures to keep the natural characteristics of the grapes intact.
