Brought a group of Ukrainian wine connoisseurs on February 23, 2025. The tour was interesting, the scale of production impressive. Therefore, the tasting looked very strange. We ordered premium, and there were no questions asked about the samples and information. But with an average tasting volume of 60 ml of wine (allowing for 3-4 sips), it was fine to pour 20 ml at a time. A sip that doesn't allow for the full enjoyment of the wine. Some strange cost-cutting for a company with such power. We haven't experienced anything like this at any winery in Ukraine, and we've never visited one.

Very satisfied with the excursion, duration 1.20-1.30 hours, interesting story and the guide himself is quite charismatic. The price of a tasting (alcoholic) excursion is 245 UAH, without alcohol (there is only one type of juice) 160 UAH per person. I recommend definitely stopping by if you are nearby, you need to make an appointment in advance

The entire event lasts about two hours—a tour of the museum, the storage room, and then the actual tasting. Typically, you can only join a group that's already recruited or in the process of being recruited. The guide explains everything quite vividly but struggles to answer in-depth questions. The region and production volumes are certainly impressive, but for the non-premium tasting, there are only eight varieties of ordinary wines, most of which are semi-sweet and dessert wines, with a minimum aging period at the lower end of the price range. Tasting by the glass. Prices are generally on par with European producers. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit, but it's too great an honor to choose specifically for the excursion.

We were in Berehovo and stopped by the factory to see what was going on. I ordered a premium tasting. I haven't been to such events in a long time. I'll start with the bad. The first disappointment came when the promised 3:00 PM tour started at 3:07 PM, and this is still a "premium" tasting. The second disappointment was that we arrived about 40 minutes before the start. We thought there would be a lot of people in the store after the tasting, so we decided to buy the products before the tour. Two uncles and their wives were standing in front of us. They ordered a few things, but the service at the cash register was simply unrealistically long, simply unrealistic. The girl probably spent 20 minutes on it. And we also spent 5-7 minutes on our order for 5 bottles. We need at least two salespeople, one of whom will be at the cash register, the other will inform customers about the products and pack orders. It is necessary to cooperate with the staff. The third disappointment is the lack of products: kosher Muscat Ottonel. It was ordered first, but as it turned out, it wasn't there. Fourth: The tasting sheet had eight cells, and only seven types of products were served for the premium tasting. I was still waiting until eight o'clock. And the last fifth, juice for children and adult participants in the non-alcoholic tasting, was only poured once, and that was just over half a glass, after which they looked enviously at the other participants in the alcoholic tasting. Add at least a few product varieties to the children's tasting, for example, white and pink grape juice, and you have 16 grape varieties. Now for the good: The store is nice and cool, there are brochures describing the wines, everything on the shelves is signed, and there are price tags. The area is also nice and clean, it feels like the area is being observed. A big plus is that you can go into the vineyards to taste grapes and take photos. At the entrance to the shop stands one of Kolodko's miniature sculptures, "Solekop" ("Salt Road" currently has six similar figurines in various towns: Berehovo, Kvasovo, Vynohradiv, Korolevo, Khust, and Vyshkov). The tour is guided by a bald man with a pleasant speech who narrated the history of the company and wine production in an interesting and humorous way. Without "his" and "I" and memorized phrases, yes, according to the text, but not in the unpleasant voice of a tour guide, when the text bubbles out of them like Vesuvius. However, I wish the tour had been a little longer. It is necessary to add more interesting information about the production, as there are stands and drawings, so there is something to expand on. Kudos to the tour guide; he also conducted the tasting. Production. I thought we would go to the cellar where the barrels are stored, but no, only large metal tanks ((( But I learned a lot of interesting information about wooden barrels. Tasting A beautiful hall for tasting. A small amount of snacks to go with the wine, but basically the same as everywhere. Nothing new for me, but the glasses could be changed separately for each wine 🍷, since you are one of the largest wine producers in Ukraine. It is recommended to book an excursion with tasting 3-4 days before the visit. PS "Ice Wine Riesling" is simply a gastronomic WOW!!! PPS I also liked "The Red Rose of the Carpathians". PS Children must buy juice. All products can be purchased online. If you are anywhere nearby, I can generally recommend a visit to the facility. Despite the minor flaws and disappointments (which I hope will be addressed and eliminated in the future), I liked it, so we're going to the "Chateau Chizay" tasting room!!!
