Experience the Charm of Bulgaria's Rose Valley and Family Winemaking Traditions
Chateau Copsa Winery: Established in 1998
Chateau Copsa Winery is nestled in the heart of the Rose Valley, surrounded by the southern slopes of the Balkan Mountains and Sredna Gora. Spanning over 50 hectares, this region is ideal for cultivating premium grape varieties. The winery produces Red Misket, Muscat Ottonel, Chardonnay, and Sauvignon Blanc. Thanks to the cooler climate, the grapes mature later, allowing them to develop the unique characteristics of the terroir.
Every grape used in the winemaking process is hand-picked at dawn to ensure they remain intact and preserve their rich flavors.
Blending Tradition with Innovation
Founded by the Minkov family, Chateau Copsa Winery combines ancient Thracian winemaking techniques with modern technology. The family believes that high-quality wine is crafted with care, patience, and dedication, treating their grapevines as if they were their own children.
A Family-Run Winery
Chateau Copsa stands out as a family-owned estate where every aspect of winemaking is managed by the Minkov family, from grape harvesting to bottling. This hands-on approach ensures meticulous attention to detail at every stage. To support their winemaking efforts, the family operates a modern laboratory in Klisura, just a few kilometers away, along with a stunning cellar built on the stone foundations of the Chateau.
