Crama UNU spans 25 hectares of picturesque vineyards along the banks of the Dălhăuți River, just 13 km from Focșani, near Cârligele. The winery cultivates a diverse range of grape varieties, including Merlot, Fetească Neagră, Fetească Albă, Fetească Regală, Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling de Rin, Riesling Italian, and Muscat Ottonel. As part of the Cotesti vineyard area, Crama UNU shares its rich heritage with neighboring towns such as Faraoane, Budești, Cotești, Urechești, Popești, and Tâmboiești.

Terroir of Vineyards

The geological composition of the soil at Crama UNU consists of layers of gravel, which create well-aerated conditions for vine growth. The reddish-brown soil absorbs heat from the sun during the day and releases it at night, providing the vines with a unique environment that enhances their characteristics.
