Domain Trifonoff, a Boutique Winery Established in 2008
Domain Trifonoff is a boutique winery established in 2008 in Pesnopoy Village, in the Plovdiv Province of Bulgaria. From 2008 – 2011, the winery was known as the Pesen Wine Cellar but was later renamed after its owner’s name rebranded the estate. The architecture of the winery is based on a family wine cellar in California. Still, in keeping with Bulgarian traditions, it also incorporates built-in elements of the Hisarya Fortress wall.
The wines of Domain Trifonoff have been rated 90 points out of 100 by German wine experts.
The Winery Production
One of the biggest focuses at Domain Trifonoff is the development of wine tourism. The estate attracts visitors due to its latest Italian technological equipment, which allows for 100 tons or 130,000 bottles of wine per year. In keeping with the ethos of producing small amounts of high-quality wine, Domain Trifonoff maintains its commitment to quality wine production at every turn.
Organically Grown Vineyards
In 2008 the winery embarked on its first grape processing campaign, and it now produces high-quality wines aged in oak barrels with oak sourced from Strandja Mountain. The high quality of the wine is ensured by selecting only the most perfect grapes which are organically grown and harvested from controlled vineyards. The strict control of the sugar and acid content and the area’s ideal terroir ensure excellent quality grapes.
The wines of Domain Trifoff have been rated 90 points out of 100 by German wine experts due to their authenticity, high quality, lack of added sugars and alcohols, professionalism, and look.
