A Harmonious Blend of Grapes and Olives

Spanning 24 hectares, the estate features both vineyards and olive groves, all facing the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Tuscan archipelago. The Cap Corse peninsula, with its mountainous terrain, benefits from refreshing sea breezes that protect the vines from diseases, ensuring exceptional grape quality. Here, you will find a variety of grapes, including Vermentinu, Sauvignon, Sciacarellu, Genovese, and Viognier, which are used to create a diverse range of red, white, rosé, sparkling, and dessert wines.

A Rich Family Heritage

The Catoni family has owned this winery for over 200 years, viewing wine as a vital part of their heritage. An ancestor pioneered the cultivation of Muscat grapes on the property over a century ago, laying the foundation for the family’s winemaking tradition.

The estate's house and surrounding park date back to 1812. Following the initial generation of Catonis who began viticulture, subsequent generations expanded the land and the family home.

Today, Christian Mons-Catoni is revitalizing the winery with innovative practices and new grape varieties. Over the past fifteen years, he has breathed new life into the estate, producing original wines that capture the essence of Corsica’s dramatic landscapes, charming villages, and vibrant culture.
