At Durbes Veltes Winery, we take pride in crafting exceptional wines from the fruits, berries, and plants cultivated on our family farm. In addition to our diverse selection of wines, we maintain a small vineyard that enhances our offerings.

Variety of Fruits and Herbs

We produce 10 unique types of wine, including black currant, raspberry, red currant, quince, chokeberry, rhubarb, cranberry, cherry, fruit blends, dandelion flower, and peppermint. For those who enjoy liqueurs, we offer 11 varieties, featuring classic berry flavors like strawberry, black currant, raspberry, cherry, and cranberry, as well as unique options such as herbal liqueur, coffee liqueur “Black Cat,” and cream liqueur “Joyful Milk.” During the holiday season, we create special edition liqueurs like “Christmas Scent” and “Gingerbread Liqueur.” Additionally, we produce small batches of apple vodka aged in oak barrels. Our standout products, black currant wine and quince wine, have received accolades in wine competitions across Latvia and the Baltic States, with annual sales reaching around 10,000 bottles of wine and approximately 2,000 bottles of liqueur.

Tastings

We host wine tastings for groups of 10 to 40 people, featuring 6 to 8 different wines paired with delicious snacks, including fish, ham, and cheese. This is a great opportunity to savor the unique flavors of our wines while enjoying the company of fellow wine enthusiasts.
