Et Cetera winery: a still young history
Et Cetera is a family-owned winery with strong roots in the belief that love, and care is the key to a family’s well-being. The land is meticulously and delicately cared for, and in return, the family is showered with great harvest. The Luchianov Family started growing grapes in 2003. The land was purchased in 2002 by Alexandru Luchianov, who named the winery Et Cetera.
Only best grapes are processed to wine
In 2006, his brother Igor decided to join him. Then in 2009, the winery was built, adhering to the combination of modern wine-making techniques and age-old methods. Across the 24.2 hectares of vineyard, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Prosecco, Sauvignon Blanc and Viognier are cultivated. These grapes are then collected manually in small baskets and then the workers sort them carefully. Only the best grapes get transmitted to the cellars where they get fermented- red varieties in stainless steel tanks and white ones in oak barrels to produce their signature red, white and sparkling wines.
They keep care for every detail
At Et Cetera, each winemaking process is deeply and in detail cared for, from growing grapes, fermentation and ageing in oak to the serving of the product. This way they share their experience and develop the wine culture in their country of Moldova. The terroir is also very well-drained, warm on the surface but cool and humid deep down, thanks to the close proximity to the Black Sea, Liman and the Dniester River.
Unique wines with a flavor enriched with the spirit of Moldovian land is produced at Et Cetera, where there is a sincere cultivation of the relationships between humans and nature
