A beautiful experience and excellent wine if you pass by these parts stop for a visit it is worth it..

The Götz winery in Hercegkút is simply unique! The directness and friendliness we experienced here is a rarity these days. From the first moment you feel that guests are not just being served, but really cared for. Their friendly manner and attentiveness create a unique atmosphere that makes the whole experience unforgettable. The wines are of course impeccable, but the real specialty is the spirit of the place and the hospitality. I can warmly recommend it to everyone, in an unusual place!

Good wines, good service. If you are in the area, it is definitely worth stopping by for at least one tasting.

The Gotz company is one of the wineries still in operation in Hercegkut. You enter and after a short descent you arrive in a large, very impressive room carved into the rock. The tasting of 6 wines costs 10,000 forints, about €25, and covers the range from dry to sweeter wines. There is not much information in English and so it is better to arrive with information about the types of wine. Possibility to purchase wines.

Very nice seller, very good wines! The whole Hercegkut cellars area is amazing - 4 rows of underground cellars look a little like hobbit houses. Very kind person was showing Uss the cellar an the wines. Unfortunately he didn’t speak English only some German and obviously Hungarian :) Very good wines, we bought 2 bottles 🙂

This was my first time in a real wine cellar. The experience was unforgettable. The smell, the lighting, the architecture, the taste of the wine, everything came together to create an immersive experience of all the senses that will imprint on my memory for my entire life. Traveling and the experience’s that come with it are the most rewarding moments of life

Splendid! The must to visited in Tokaji. The wine are absolutely amazing and they serve it with the cheese and homemade salami… the salami’s taste are so fantastic… we didn’t left anything behind there 😁😁😁 and the staff are so friendly, we loved them!

We didn’t expect such an experience! Very cool and chilled cellar. Very friendly staff. Not many customer on a very hot day, but the wine is very good. We enjoyed it a lot and got the bottle of wine with us! Very nice price for the bottle of wine - 2000Ft

Beautiful cellars, one of them is almost always open to the public. They can prepare for you the tasting, and you can pay in Euros or by card which is a big plus. English menus are available as well. Overall, a nice site, more open cellars would help improve the atmosphere

The best wine in the world!!!

There is a lot of love, life, desire and fun in this place. Always happy to come back
