A Family Winery Driven by Passion

Van Ardi is a family project which began about 20 years ago when the founder and winemaker, Varuzhan Mouradian, fell in love with wine and there was no turning back. The owners left their lives in Los Angeles and repatriated to their motherland to begin the wine endeavor in 2008.

Driven by passion and precision, they tend to their estate-grown vines and have a biodynamic approach in the vineyard and winery. They produce unique, high-quality wines to which their numerous international awards and medals can attest to. The vision of the winery is to revive wine culture in Armenia and provide not just a product, but an experience. The staff at Van Ardi also aims to remind everyone that wine is a lifestyle. There are well-guided wine tastings and tours offered by the winery for you to come and experience Van Ardi yourself.

Our wines

Van Ardi Kangun dry white wine
Van Ardi

Van Ardi’s classic dry white highlights Kangun, a versatile Armenian grape variety grown in the volcanic soils of our organic vineyards. Our terroir and the vintage have married to pour a glass that greets with the summer wind - breezes of exotic fruits. At first pear, banana, then white peach, with hints of lilies and walnut peel, encompassed with a tart and refreshing finish.

White Wine

Van Ardi Kangun medium dry white wine
Van Ardi

Back again by popular demand, our classic semi-dry Kangun is here for your aperitif or dessert pairing pleasure. Beautiful aromas of white flowers, like lilies of the valley, blend with that of fresh mint leading into a pineapple and white peach explosion on the palate. Fresh with a delicate sweetness, this medium-bodied semi-dry is just as enjoyable on its own as it is to pair.

Red Wine

Van Ardi Estate Blend Dry Red Wine - Van Ardi
Van Ardi

This is a wine for any occasion, whether today or years down the road thanks to its great aging potential

Red Wine

Van Ardi Reserve Haghtanak Dry Red Wine - Van Ardi
Van Ardi

Wind rushes past the dark steed and the rider, as they gallop through fields of meadowsweet amongst the mountains, heading towards a loved one. Every pulse against the earth sends a fresh bouquet of the wild evening flowers up towards the rider, who is drunk with anticipation and the scents of the worn leather saddle, bell peppers, and sweet peppermint coffee cake. He has a long journey ahead but is confident the destination is worth the wait.
