Founded in 2002 by Stanislav Rudolfský, Vinne sklepy Kutna Hora is a family-owned winery dedicated to restoring the viticultural legacy of Kutná Hora. In 2005, Stanislav's son, Lukáš, took the helm, focusing on producing premium organic wines. The region's significance dates back to the 12th century when a monk named Dominik discovered silver while tending to the vineyards, marking Kutná Hora as a vital European center for winemaking.
Commitment to Sustainable Practices
At Vinne sklepy Kutna Hora, we honor traditional winemaking methods by avoiding chemicals in both our vineyards and cellars. We create our own herbal extracts to promote plant health and utilize biodynamic preparations, lunar phases, and permaculture principles to enhance soil quality. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our organic certification and the prestigious DEMETER label for biodynamic farming, making us the only winery in the Czech Republic to hold this distinction.
Pinot Noir, a grape variety introduced by Emperor Charles IV, flourishes in our vineyards, continuing a centuries-old tradition.

Such a cute wine bar with a great selection!! The owner is so nice and even let us borrow a corkscrew to open our bottle of wine at the air bnb. The small plates are delicious. Went back 2-3 times during our stay in Prague. Absolutely recommend

I was visiting Kutná hora this weekend with some friends. When we went to this place they were about to close, still the lady that was working there sold us a bottle of wine, gave us water and classes so we could enjoy it outside. The wine was amazing. We really appreciated such kindness We will surely return when visiting Kutná again. Very good costumer service which we don’t see very often around. Thanks !
