Year of Finest Winemaking and Winecrafting
Family business for six generations.
At Schlegel Weingut zur alten Post, we live wine. With a love of detail and a lot of time, we create expressive wines on our traditional family farm that reflect not only the character of the vineyard, but also our joy in our work.
In 2005, we specialised in high quality site wines. With Georg Schlegel Junior, the sixth generation is now responsible for the success of the wines on a total of seven hectares.
Wines rich in finesse from the Bündner Herrschaft.
A classic Pinot Noir on a cosy winter evening, an elegant Chardonnay for an aperitif, a sparkling Riesling Sylvaner on a beautiful summer afternoon: at the Schlegel Weingut zur alten Post in Jenins we create experiences for the palate and soul. The mild climate and chalky soils of the Bündner Herrschaft provide the ideal conditions for our red and white wine vines. With diligence, precision craftsmanship and a portion of idealism, we offer you exceptional drinking pleasure of the highest quality.
Past. Present. Future.
Those who want to preserve traditions cannot do without innovations. At Schlegel Weingut zur alten Post, we combine the past with the present and pursue our ideas for the future with passion and great attention to detail. Nature sets the pace for us and it is precisely its unpredictability that makes our work so exciting and our wines something unique every year.
Over the past 20 years, we have received many awards and prizes for our wines. This honours us greatly and spurs us on every day to give our best.
